Voter Fraud Investigation Leads to Arrests
Six people have been arrested in connection to voter fraud in the Rio Grande Valley, the Texas Attorney General’s Office confirms.
The arrests were made on Wednesday, June 16th amid an ongoing investigation.
The six Cameron County residents range from ages 29 to 85, according to the Cameron County Elections Department.
The alleged voter fraud took place during the 2012 Democratic primary runoff in Cameron County, the elections office confirms.
The Texas Attorney General’s Office said they are working in conjunction with the FBI.
The identities of the individuals have not been released at this time.
