Nearly a million dollars worth of cocaine confiscated at a local international bridge. Customs And Border Protection officers at The Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville sent a vehicle to secondary inspection.As authorities inspected the vehcile, they found 24 packages of cocaine weighing 122 pounds. The case was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Laredo, Texas– Six pounds of cocaine were seized when a DPS trooper stopped a traffic stop on Interstate 35. A bundle of cocaine was found within the vehicle’s engine compartment, the narcotics street value of over 390 thousand dollars.
