Men Indicted In Connection To Agent’s Death
A grand jury has indicted two men in connection with the shooting death of an off-duty U.S. border patrol agent.
30 year old Gustavo Tijerina Sandoval and 40 year old Ismael Hernandez Vallejo were charged with one count for capital murder and a second count of attempted capital murder in connection to the death of 36 year old Javier Vega Junior.
The shooting happened on august 3rd in Raymondville while the border patrol agent was on a fishing trip with his family. Javier Vega Senior, the victim’s father, was also wounded in the lower back.
The two count indictment against Tijerina Sandoval and Hernandez Vallejo was filed in the 197th district court.
