Human Remains Identified as McAllen Resident, Linked to Pharr Kidnapping

In our top story tonight we have new developments regarding the human remains found in rural McAllen Tuesday.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s office is releasing the identity of the deceased victim discovered yesterday by precinct 4 workers encased inside several trash bags near Nine Mile Line and Ware roads.

The victim identified as 26-year-old Victor Manuel Garcia, was being sought by Pharr police in connection to a kidnapping taking place October 29th.

Garcia had been identified as the owner of the vehicle that the kidnapped woman was abducted from.
