Advocates for the Black Lives Matter movement in South Texas continue their efforts to try to put an end to racial injustice.

The mural in Brownsville, painted to honor the life of George Floyd who allegedly died by the hands of police officers, was vandalized and covered in paint two weeks after completion.

“This mural was recently defaced it was vandalized with white paint and this is exactly what we are marching for this is something hateful that happened.”
