21-Year-Old Homicide Suspect Behind Bars


One man spent the weekend behind bars in connection to Laredo’s ninth homicide.

21-year-old Norberto Adame has been arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The incident was reported last week at the 38-hundred block of Logan Avenue. 25-year-old Lesther Julian Castro, an alleged victim of Adame, reported to authorities he and his friend had been shot by the suspect. At the scene, authorities found 24-year-old Jose Jesus Martinez dead.

“Throughout the course of the investigation, there were several witnesses who identified Adame as the suspect who fired the rounds into a Chrysler 300, at the 3800 block of Logan Avenue which intersects with McClelland.”

Adame remains at the Webb County Jail with a bond set at 475 thousand dollars.
