NBA Teams Take Knee and Moment of Silence Amid Violence in D.C.

Both teams, Boston and Miami, sent out a statement prior to the match on the matter, making reference to the difference in treatment between protesters from the Summer and today. The teams said they decided to play tonight’s game to bring joy into people’s lives, but ask not forget the injustices in society. The Pistons and Bucks also took a knee before their game.
