Final results are in for the city of Mercedes Mayoral Election. 4,619 voters cast their ballot: Oscar Montoya bringing in 54% of the votes. The newly-elected official says he plans to fix the many issues affecting the city, such as improvements to infrastructure to reduce flooding.
