Washington Nationals Catcher and Former Sharyland Player Tres Barrera is suing Major League Baseball, a testing lab and the medical director after being suspended for 80 games after allegedly testing positive to a performance-enhancing drug.
The player posted a statement during the weekend saying he had appealed the decision ,which was turned down. The court filing seeks to overturn the decision and the suspension ban.

As the 2020 season was shortened to a 60-game regular season, Tres Barrera would be missing out from playing baseball this year.
