Representatives from Laredo school districts have said the option of returning to school would land on the parents. However, the health authority says it is not safe to return to school and ordered their closure.
“This crisis is moving so fast and we need to act quickly to get in front of it. The current order was the only responsible decision to do, it was not made lightly.”
