The free testing event is part of the federal government’s surge testing efforts to identify and slow the spread of COVID-19 in hot spots throughout the U.S.
Anyone wanted to take the test is being asked to pre-register at doineedacovid19 test.com . The Texas Emergency Management Chief tells Fox News if you arrive to the location with out registering the process will be much longer.

Testing is taking place at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg.. starting Wednesday July 8th until Tuesday July 14th from 8 AM until 4 PM .
