“I did what is called the rapid test. My results were ready within an hour and unfortunately I came back positive. Since that moment, isolated myself and have been following strict quarantine.”
Dr. Vasquez tells Fox news he decided to get tested after experiencing symptoms last week.
“I started presenting symptoms such as runny nose and some mild headaches but just as a precaution I tested myself.”
Vasquez has been working from home since he found out about his positive diagnosis, adding that he has been following the CDC protocols and that a second test is not necessary since he no longer has any symptoms. The doctor is now encouraging others that have been infected with COVID-19 to donate plasma.
