H-E-B is again limiting the purchase of certain items amid the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the company, the items include brisket, toilet paper, hand soap, medicines, among others.

“To help protect the supply chain in Texas, we have implemented temporary purchase limits on certain items,” HEB wrote in a statement dating from the start of the pandemic in March, however the note was updated over the weekend. (June 27th).
“Our stores are in strong supply and we continue to replenish products daily,” the statement said.
The products to which the limit will apply in all H-E-B stores are:
Food and purchase limit:
Brisket – Limit 2
General items and purchase limit:
Tissue – 2
Towels – limit 2
Acetaminophen – 2 (including baby and traveler’s)
.H-E-B Acid Controller / Famotidine and Pepcid 50ct – Limit 1
H-E-B Acid Controller / Famotidine and Pepcid small – Limit 2
Disinfectant and antibacterial spray – 2
Disinfectant and antibacterial in towels – 2
Antibacterial travel disinfectants, sprays and wipes – 2
Hand soap – 4
Hydrogen peroxide – 2
Rubbing (Isopropyl) Alcohol – 2
First aid and cleaning gloves – 2
The following product limits apply only to H-E-B stores in the border region:
Baby wipes – limit 2
Eggs under 30 – limit 4
Eggs, 30 or more – limit 2
