The USL championship has voted to allow a maximum of five player substitution versus the original three.
In order to avoid disruption during the game, each team will only have three opportunities to make the substitutions.
This does not include player changes during half time.
Match Day Squads will continue to be 18 players with clubs providing a 23 player list at least 48 hours prior to each game.
The league is scheduled to resume on Saturday July 11.
