TEA Announces Schools Will Reopen for In-Person Instruction This Fall

Governor Greg Abbott said,  the academic school year will reopen with students “in class” this Fall.

The Texas Education Agency made the announcement today. According  to local school districts, additional guides will be published by the TEA  for all school districts this Tuesday.

Governor Abbott doesn’t plan on making  it mandatory for  students or faculty  to wear  face masks or protective equipment. It is unknown if each district will be allowed to implement their mandatory measures of prevention.
