The city of Laredo suspends the annual Sister Cities Festival due to COVID-19.
The annual event takes place in July where vendors from Mexico come to sell pottery, food and clothes. With the ongoing pandemic, city officials say it would be impossible for exhibitors from Mexico to travel to attend the event.
