Officials Say There Has Been No Spike in COVID-19 Cases Since Reopening

When Texas kicked off its first phase of reopening at the beginning of the month, health experts say they did not see a high number of positive COVID-19 cases.

The first phase involved allowing malls, movie theaters and restaurants to open at 25 percent capacity.The health department shares the number of community members catching the virus since restrictions were lifted.
