Congressman Vicente Gonzalez announced over $9.5 million have been awarded to the city of McAllen’s public transportation system.
These funds, awarded through the “CARES” Act, will go toward salaries, fuel, personal protective gear and maintenance costs to keep McAllen Metro systems operating throughout this pandemic.
